Mrs. Susan Elizabeth (Lizzie) STANSBURY, 85, who has resided in Frostland, Illinois with her nephew, Bruce DeLong, died at his home at 9 a.m. Saturday. Funeral services was held from the Delong home at 2 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Harold Peterson office. The body was taken to the Tuscola Cemetery for interment at 4 p.m. Mrs. Stansbury, the former Lizzie Susan Wardall, was born in Springfield Ill Sept 22, 1856 daughter of William and Margaret Wardall moved early in life to Tolono and later to Tuscola. In 1912 she moved to Waveland Indiana and resided until 1941 when she moved with the Delong family. In 1929, she married Ellsworth O. Stansbury, who died in1 939. She was a member of the Waveland Presbyterian Church. Only survivors are a number of nieces and nephews. - transcribed by kbz
